حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ وَبَهْزٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَعْدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ ص

English Translation

'Affan and Bahz both said: Shu'bah narrated to us, Sa'd ibn Ibrahim informed me, he said: I heard Abu 'Ubaydah narrating from his father, from the Prophet ﷺ, that he used to wipe over the leather socks (khuffayn). 'Affan added in his narration: I asked him (Abu 'Ubaydah) whether he heard this from 'Abdullah directly, and he did not respond to me.
