English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, 'Asim ibn Bahdala informed us, from Zirr ibn Hubaysh, from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud رضي الله عنه who said: 'On the day of Badr, every three of us shared a single camel. Abu Lubabah and 'Ali ibn Abi Talib were the riding companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When it was the turn of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to walk, they said: We will walk on your behalf. He said: You are not stronger than me for walking, and I am not less in need of the reward than you two.'
