‏ ‏قَالَ ‏ ‏فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ الْقِرَدَةُ وَالْخَنَازِيرُ هِيَ مِمَّا ‏ ‏مُسِخَ ‏ ‏فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏لَمْ ‏ ‏يَمْسَخْ ‏ ‏اللَّهُ قَوْمًا أَوْ يُهْلِكْ قَوْمًا فَيَجْعَلَ لَهُمْ نَسْلًا وَلَا ‏ ‏عَاقِبَةً ‏ ‏وَإِنَّ الْقِرَدَةَ وَالْخَنَازِيرَ قَدْ كَانَتْ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ ‏

English Translation

He (the narrator) said: A man said: O Messenger of Allah, the apes and the pigs — are they from those who were transformed (in divine punishment)? the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Allah has never transformed a people — or destroyed a people — and then made for them offspring or progeny. Indeed, the apes and the pigs existed before that.'
