حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ وَأَبُو أَحْمَدَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّ
مَ إِذَا نَامَ قَالَ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ إِذَا أَوَى إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى تَحْتَ خَدِّهِ قَالَ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْأَيْمَنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَجْمَعُ عِبَادَكَ حَدَّثَنَاه وَكِيعٌ بِمَعْنَاهُ

English Translation
Aswad ibn 'Amir and Abu Ahmad both (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that isra'il narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu 'Ubaydah, from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud who said: the Prophet ﷺ used to fast three days at the beginning of every month, and he would rarely not fast on Friday.
