حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَرْطَاةَ عَنْ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْمَصْبُوغِ مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ بِهِ نَفْضٌ وَلَا رَدْعٌ
English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via Husayn ibn 'Abdullah, from 'Ikrimah — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ permitted [wearing while in ihram] a garment dyed [with saffron], so long as it had no residue [nafth] that rubbed off or left a stain [rad'].
