English Translation
Rawh narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Hammad, from Ibrahim, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid, that 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud entered the depths of the valley and faced the Jamarat head-on and threw them with seven pebbles each, saying Allahu Akbar with each throw. It was said: People throw from above. He said: 'By the One besides Whom there is no deity, this is the standing place of the one upon whom Surah al-Baqarah was revealed ﷺ.'
