حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ أَنَّهُ حَجَّ مَع
َ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ فَرَمَى الْجَمْرَةَ الْكُبْرَى بِسَبْعِ حَصَيَاتٍ وَجَعَلَ الْبَيْتَ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ وَمِنًى عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَقَالَ هَذَا مَقَامُ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ

English Translation
Rawh and Muhammad ibn Ja'far both (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that shu'bah narrated to us — Rawh said: al-Hakam narrated to us — from Ibrahim, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid, that he performed Hajj with 'Abdullah. He threw pebbles at Jamrat al-'Aqabah from the bottom of the valley with seven pebbles, saying Allahu Akbar with each throw. Then he said: 'By the One besides Whom there is no deity, this is the standing place of the one upon whom Surah al-Baqarah was revealed ﷺ.'
