ِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قِتَالُ مُسْلِمٍ أَخَاهُ كُفْرٌ وَسِبَابُهُ فُسُوقٌ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Hisham ibn 'Abd al-Malik, from Abu 'Awana, from 'Abd al-Malik, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Abdillah ibn Mas'ud, from his father — that 'Abdullah said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Fighting one's Muslim brother is disbelief [kufr], and abusing him is iniquity [fusuq].'
