حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ
اللَّهِ فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { مَا كَذَبَ الْفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَى } قَالَ رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جِبْرِيلَ فِي حُلَّةٍ مِنْ رَفْرَفٍ قَدْ مَلَأَ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Yahya, from Isra'il, from Abi Ishaq, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid — regarding His (عز وجل) saying: 'The heart did not lie about what it saw' [53:11] — that 'Abdullah said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw Jibril in a garment of fine green silk [rafraf] that filled what was between the heaven and the earth.'
