حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ يَعْنِي الطَّيَالِسِيَّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَ
حْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنْ الْجُمُعَةِ لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ ثُمَّ أُحَرِّقَ عَلَى رِجَالٍ بُيُوتَهُمْ يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنْ الْجُمُعَةِ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) — via Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi, from Zuhayr, from Abi Ishaq, from Abi al-Ahwas — from the Prophet ﷺ that he said to men who were staying behind from the Friday prayer: 'I have considered ordering a man to lead the people in prayer and then burn down the houses of the men who stay behind from the Friday prayer.'
