حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَ
بْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمَرَرْنَا بِقَرْيَةِ نَمْلٍ فَأُحْرِقَتْ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَنْبَغِي لِبَشَرٍ أَنْ يُعَذِّبَ بِعَذَابِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Sufyan, from Abi Ishaq al-Shaybani, from al-Hasan ibn Sa'd, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Abdillah — that 'Abdullah said: 'We were with the Prophet ﷺ when we passed by an ant colony that had been burned. the Prophet ﷺ said: It is not fitting for any person to punish with the punishment of Allah (عز وجل).'
