English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) — via Muhammad ibn Ja'far, from Shu'ba, from Wasil, from Abi Wa'il — that he said — and I [the narrator] think he raised it to the Prophet ﷺ: 'Before the Hour there will be days of al-harj — days in which knowledge disappears and ignorance prevails.' Abu Musa said: 'Al-harj' in the Ethiopian language means killing.
