حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ عَاص
ِمٍ عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الطِّيَرَةُ شِرْكٌ الطِّيَرَةُ شِرْكٌ وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُذْهِبُهُ بِالتَّوَكُّلِ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Rahman, from Sufyan, from Salama, from 'Isa ibn 'Asim, from Zirr ibn Hubaysh — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Taking bad omens from birds [al-tiyara] is shirk — taking bad omens from birds is shirk. But Allah (عز وجل) removes it through tawakkul [reliance on Him].'
