English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Rahman, from Sufyan, from Salama, from 'Isa ibn 'Asim, from Zirr ibn Hubaysh — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Taking bad omens from birds [al-tiyara] is shirk — taking bad omens from birds is shirk. But Allah (عز وجل) removes it through tawakkul [reliance on Him].'
