English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Waki', from 'Isa ibn Dinar — a client of Khuza'a — from his father, from 'Amr ibn al-Harith ibn al-Mustaliq — that Ibn Mas'ud said: 'We did not fast Ramadan for twenty-nine days during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ more often than we fasted it for thirty days.'
