حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْهَ
جَرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَفْتَحُ أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاءِ ثُلُثَ اللَّيْلِ الْبَاقِي ثُمَّ يَهْبِطُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ يَبْسُطُ يَدَهُ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ أَلَا عَبْدٌ يَسْأَلُنِي فَأُعْطِيَهُ حَتَّى يَسْطَعَ الْفَجْرُ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) — via Mu'awiya ibn 'Amr, from Za'ida, from Ibrahim al-Hajari, from Abu al-Ahwas — from the Prophet ﷺ — that he said: 'Indeed Allah (عز وجل) opens the gates of heaven in the last third of the night, then descends to the lowest heaven, then extends His hand, then says: Is there a servant who asks Me, that I may give to him? [This continues] until dawn breaks.'
