English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) — via Ibn Idris, from al-Hasan ibn 'Ubaydillah, from Ibrahim, from 'Alqama — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed five [rak'as] with them, then turned [to face them after finishing]. Some of the people began whispering to one another, then said to him: O Messenger of Allah, you prayed five. He then turned back and prostrated two prostrations [for the error] with them and gave salam. He said: 'I am only a human — I forget as you forget.'
