حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ع
َنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ ثُمَّ أَنْظُرَ فَأُحَرِّقَ عَلَى قَوْمٍ بُيُوتَهُمْ لَا يَشْهَدُونَ الْجُمُعَةَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu al-Ahwas — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I have considered commanding a man to lead the people in prayer, then going and burning the houses of those people who do not attend the Friday prayer [Jumu'a].'
