English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Hasan ibn Musa, from Shayban, from 'Abd al-Malik ibn 'Umayr, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Abdillah ibn Mas'ud, from his father — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Fighting [qital] a Muslim brother is disbelief [kufr], and abusing him is iniquity [fusuq].'
