English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Hasan ibn Musa, from Hammad ibn Zayd, from 'Asim ibn Abi al-Najud, from Abu Wa'il — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'A woman must not rub closely against another woman and then describe her to her husband — or describe her to a man — as though he were looking at her himself. And when three people are together, two must not converse privately [excluding] their companion — for that saddens him. And whoever swears a false oath to wrongfully seize his brother's property — or he said: the property of a Muslim — will meet Allah (عز وجل) while He is angry with him.' Al-Ash'ath ibn Qays heard Ibn Mas'ud narrating this and said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said that concerning me — and concerning a man with whom I disputed before the Prophet ﷺ over a well.'
