English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Hasan ibn Musa, from Hammad ibn Salama, from 'Asim ibn Bahdala, from Zirr ibn Hubaysh — regarding the verse: "And he certainly saw him in another descent — at the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary" [53:13-14] — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I saw Jibril (عليه السلام) — he had six hundred wings, and from his feathers fell wondrous, awesome things: pearls and rubies.'
