حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَجَّ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ فَأَمَرَنِي عَلْقَمَةُ أَنْ أَلْزَمَهُ فَلَزِمْتُهُ فَكُنْتُ مَعَهُ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ فَلَمَّا كَانَ حِينَ طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ قَالَ أَقِمْ فَقُلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ إِنَّ هَذِهِ لَسَاعَةٌ مَا رَأَيْتُكَ صَلَّيْتَ فِيهَا قَالَ قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَ
لَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ لَا يُصَلِّي هَذِهِ السَّاعَةَ إِلَّا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ مِنْ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ هُمَا صَلَاتَانِ تُحَوَّلَانِ عَنْ وَقْتَيْهِمَا صَلَاةُ الْمَغْرِبِ بَعْدَ مَا يَأْتِي النَّاسُ الْمُزْدَلِفَةَ وَصَلَاةُ الْغَدَاةِ حِينَ يَبْزُغُ الْفَجْرُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Hasan ibn Musa, from Zuhayr, from Abu Ishaq, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid — that 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud performed Hajj, and 'Alqama commanded me to stay close to him, so I did. [He mentioned the hadith.] When dawn was about to break, ['Abdullah] said: "Call the iqama." I said: "O Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, this is an hour in which I have never seen you pray." He said: "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would not pray at this hour except this prayer, in this place, on this day." 'Abdullah said: "These are two prayers shifted from their usual times — Maghrib, after the people arrive at Muzdalifa, and Fajr when dawn first appears." He said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do that."'
