َعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْغَارِ فَنَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ وَالْمُرْسَلَاتِ عُرْفًا فَقَرَأْتُهَا قَرِيبًا مِمَّا أَقْرَأَنِي غَيْرَ أَنِّي لَسْتُ أَدْرِي بِأَيِّ الْآيَتَيْنِ خَتَمَ

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Ali ibn Bahr, from 'Isa ibn Yunus, from al-A'mash, from Abu Razin — that he said: 'I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the cave when Surah al-Mursalat [77] was revealed to him. I recited it close to how he had recited it to me — except that I do not know which of the two last [verses] he ended with.'
