English Translation

Hushaym narrated to us, Yunus informed us, from Ziyad ibn Jubayr who said: I saw a man come to Ibn 'Umar and ask him. He said: He had vowed to fast every Wednesday. Then the day of Eid al-Adha or the day of Eid al-Fitr fell on that day. Ibn 'Umar رضي الله عنهما said: Allah has commanded the fulfillment of vows, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade fasting on this day.
