English Translation

Isma'il narrated to us, Ayyub narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar who said: 'When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from a Hajj or a military expedition and ascended a high ridge of land, he would say three times: Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest). Then he would say: There is no deity except Allah, alone without partner. To Him belongs the sovereignty and to Him belongs all praise, and He is able to do all things. Returning, repenting, worshiping, prostrating to our Lord, and praising Him. Allah has fulfilled His promise, granted victory to His servant, and defeated the confederates alone.'
