Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ أَيُّوبُ لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ حَلَ
فَ فَاسْتَثْنَى فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ إِنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يَمْضِيَ عَلَى يَمِينِهِ وَإِنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ غَيْرَ حِنْثٍ أَوْ قَالَ غَيْرَ حَرَجٍ

English Translation
Isma'il narrated to us, Ayyub narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar — Ayyub said: I do not know it except as being from the Prophet ﷺ — who said: 'Whoever swears an oath and says in sha' Allah (if Allah wills), then if he wishes he may fulfill it, and if he wishes he may leave it without penalty.'
