حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِ ال
ْمَسْجِدِ فَقَامَ فَحَكَّهَا أَوْ قَالَ فَحَتَّهَا بِيَدِهِ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَى النَّاسِ فَتَغَيَّظَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قِبَلَ وَجْهِ أَحَدِكُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَلَا يَتَنَخَّمَنَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ قِبَلَ وَجْهِهِ فِي صَلَاتِهِ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Isma'il narrated to us, Ayyub informed us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, that the Prophet ﷺ saw some mucus on the qiblah wall of the mosque, so he stood up and scraped it off — or he said scratched it off. Then he turned to the people and said: 'When any of you is praying, let him not spit in front of him, for Allah عز وجل is in front of him when he prays.'
