English Translation

'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Salim, from his father, that they used to be struck (punished) during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ if they bought food in bulk and sold it at the same location before moving it to their own place. (This was a prohibition on reselling food before taking physical possession of it.)
