حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ رَفَعَ يَد
َيْهِ حَتَّى يُحَاذِيَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ وَبَعْدَمَا يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ الرُّكُوعِ وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ مَرَّةً وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ وَأَكْثَرُ مَا كَانَ يَقُولُ وَبَعْدَمَا يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ الرُّكُوعِ وَلَا يَرْفَعُ بَيْنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ

English Translation
Sufyan narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Salim, from his father who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he began the prayer, raising his hands until they were level with his shoulders. And when he was about to bow (ruku'), and when he raised his head from ruku' (he would do the same). But he did not raise them between the two prostrations.
