حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى ا

للَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَمَّا يَقْتُلُ الْمُحْرِمُ مِنْ الدَّوَابِّ قَالَ خَمْسٌ لَا جُنَاحَ فِي قَتْلِهِنَّ عَلَى مَنْ قَتَلَهُنَّ فِي الْحَرَمِ الْعَقْرَبُ وَالْفَأْرَةُ وَالْغُرَابُ وَالْحِدَأَةُ وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ

English Translation

Sufyan narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Salim, from his father who said: the Prophet ﷺ was asked about what creatures the person in ihram may kill. He said: 'Five — there is no sin in killing them: the scorpion, the rat, the crow, the kite, and the rabid dog.'
