English Translation
Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, Salih ibn Kaysan narrated to us, from Salim, from his father: 'the Prophet ﷺ, when he returned from a Hajj, 'Umrah, or military expedition and ascended a hilltop or elevated ground, would say the takbir three times and then say: There is no deity except Allah, alone without partner. To Him belongs the sovereignty and to Him belongs all praise, and He is able to do all things. Returning, repenting, worshiping, prostrating to our Lord, and praising Him. Allah has fulfilled His promise, granted victory to His servant, and defeated the confederates alone.'
