حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَلَمّ

َا رَأَيْتُهُ أَسْرَعْتُ فَدَخَلْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَجَلَسْتُ فَلَمْ أَسْمَعْ حَتَّى نَزَلَ فَسَأَلْتُ النَّاسَ أَيَّ شَيْءٍ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالُوا نَهَى عَنْ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ أَنْ يُنْتَبَذَ فِيهِ

English Translation

Sufyan narrated to us, Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Nafi', Ibn 'Umar said: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the minbar. When I saw him, I hurried and entered the mosque. I heard him saying: If any of you intends to come to the Friday prayer, let him perform ghusl.'
