حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ غَ

يْلَانَ بْنَ سَلَمَةَ الثَّقَفِيَّ أَسْلَمَ وَتَحْتَهُ عَشْرُ نِسْوَةٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اخْتَرْ مِنْهُنَّ أَرْبَعًا
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Isma'il narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Salim, from his father [Ibn 'Umar] (رضي الله عنهما): Ghaylan ibn Salamah al-Thaqafi embraced Islam while he had ten wives. the Prophet ﷺ said to him: 'Keep four of them and separate from the rest.'
