Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي
نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَأْكُلْ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ أُضْحِيَّتِهِ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ إِذَا غَابَتْ الشَّمْسُ مِنْ الْيَوْمِ الثَّالِثِ لَا يَأْكُلُ مِنْ لَحْمِ هَدْيِهِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yahya, from Ibn Jurayj, from Nafi' — that he said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "None of you should eat from his sacrificial animal [udhiyya] for more than three days."' And 'Abdullah would not eat from the meat of his sacrificial animal [hady] once the sun had set on the third day.
