حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي

وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا كُنْتُمْ ثَلَاثَةً فَلَا يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ وَاحِدٍ فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ يُحْزِنُهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) — via Waki', from al-A'mash, from Abi Wa'il — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When you are three [people], two of you should not engage in private conversation to the exclusion of the one — for that will grieve him.'
