English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yahya, from 'Ubayd Allah, from Nafi' — that he said: 'I prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ two rak'as before Dhuhr and two after it, two after Maghrib, two after 'Isha', and two after Jumu'a — and the [sunnah prayers after] Jumu'a and Maghrib he would perform in his house.' He said: 'My sister Hafsa informed me that he used to pray two brief rak'as when dawn broke.' He said: 'That was an hour during which I would not enter upon the Prophet ﷺ.'
