English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Waki', from al-'Umari, from Nafi' — that the Prophet ﷺ sent Ibn Rawaha to Khaybar to estimate the crop [kharasa] for them. He then gave them the choice to take [the assessed allocation] or to return it. They said: 'This is justice — it is by this that the heavens and earth are upheld.'
