حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ فَرْقَدٍ السَّبَخِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَدَّهِنُ عِنْدَ الْإِحْرَامِ بِالزَّيْتِ غَيْرَ الْمُقَتَّتِ
English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Waki', from Hammad ibn Salama, from Farqad al-Sabakhi, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to anoint himself with unscented olive oil [zayt ghayr al-muqattat] when entering the state of ihram.
