حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بَنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى ا

للَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ كَانَ مُتَحَرِّيَهَا فَلْيَتَحَرَّهَا لَيْلَةَ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ وَقَالَ تَحَرَّوْهَا لَيْلَةَ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ يَعْنِي لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yazid ibn Harun, from Shu'ba, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever is seeking it [Laylat al-Qadr], let him seek it on the twenty-seventh night.' And he also said: 'Seek it on the twenty-seventh night' — meaning Laylat al-Qadr.
