English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Rawh, from Ibn Jurayj, from Sulayman ibn Musa, from Nafi' — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The bond of clientage [al-wala'] belongs to the one who freed [the slave].'
