‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏رَوْحٌ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏حَمَّادٌ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏حُمَيْدٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏أَنَّ ‏ ‏ابْنَ عُمَرَ ‏ ‏كَانَ ‏ ‏يَهْجَعُ ‏ ‏هَجْعَةً ‏ ‏بِالْبَطْحَاءِ ‏ ‏وَذَكَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated — via Rawh, from Hammad, from Humayd, from Bakr ibn 'Abdullah — that Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) used to take a brief rest at al-Batha'. He mentioned that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do the same.
