English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yazid, from Sulayman al-Taymy, from Tawus — from the Prophet ﷺ — that he said: 'The night prayer is [performed] two rak'as at a time; and when you fear [the approach of] Fajr, then make the witr with one rak'a.'
