English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yazid ibn Harun, from Hajjaj ibn Arta'a, from Nafi' — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ handed over Khaybar to its people for half [the produce in sharecropping], and it remained with them throughout the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the lifetime of Abu Bakr and the lifetime of 'Umar — until 'Umar sent me to divide [the land/produce] with them. They bewitched me and my hand became twisted [and crippled]. So 'Umar expelled them.
