English Translation

It was narrated — via Yazid, from Isma'il, from Abu Hanzala — that he said: 'I asked Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) about prayer during travel. He said: The prayer during travel is two rak'as. [The man] said: But we are [in a state of] security — we fear no one. He said: It is the Sunna of the Prophet ﷺ.'
