حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ س

ِيرِينَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي اللَّيْلَ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى ثُمَّ يُوتِرُ بِرَكْعَةٍ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ كَأَنَّ الْأَذَانَ وَالْإِقَامَةَ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yazid, from Shu'ba, from Anas ibn Sirin — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray the night prayer two rak'as at a time, then make the Witr with one rak'a at the end of the night, then rise [for Fajr] as if the adhan and the iqama were in his ears.
