English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yahya, from Sufyan, from 'Abdullah ibn Abi Labid, from Abu Salama — from the Prophet ﷺ — that he said: 'Do not let the Bedouins change the name of your prayer — for it is al-'Isha' [the night prayer]. They call it al-'Atama because they delay into the night [for milking] their camels.'
