English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Salim — that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever frees his share in a slave — the [remainder] shall be valued from his wealth [and he must pay to free the whole slave].'
