حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ أَخْبَرَ

نِي أَبِي أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَحَرَّوْا بِصَلَاتِكُمْ طُلُوعَ الشَّمْسِ وَلَا غُرُوبَهَا فَإِنَّهَا تَطْلُعُ بَيْنَ قَرْنَيْ شَيْطَانٍ

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yahya, from Hisham ibn 'Urwa, from his father — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Do not deliberately time your prayers to coincide with sunrise or sunset, for it [the sun] rises between the two horns of the devil.'
