حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ يُخْبِرُ أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الشَّهْرُ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ
English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Hisham ibn Sa'd, from Mu'awiya ibn Sallam, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Abu Salama — that he heard him say: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "The month can be twenty-nine [days]."'
