Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى أَنَّ عَمَّهُ
Body (Matn)
وَاسِعَ بْنَ حَبَّانَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ لَقَدْ ظَهَرْتُ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ عَلَى ظَهْرِ بَيْتِنَا فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَاعِدًا عَلَى لَبِنَتَيْنِ مُسْتَقْبِلًا بَيْتَ الْمَقْدِسِ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated — via Yazid, from Yahya, from Muhammad ibn Yahya — that his uncle Wasi' ibn Habban told him that he heard Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) say: 'One day I went up onto the roof of our house and saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ seated on two bricks, facing toward Jerusalem [Bayt al-Maqdis].'
