English Translation

Yahya narrated to us, from 'Ubayd Allah, Nafi' informed me, from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) who said: A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the night prayer. He said: 'One of you should pray two rak'ahs at a time. When one of you fears the onset of dawn, let him pray one rak'ah to make his prayer an odd number.'
